Although the majority of games you’ll find here are made by one software developer, there’s still a variety of formats and themes to choose from. Your best bet for actually getting to play all of the casino’s games will be from your web browser on a desktop or laptop computer. I’ll explain below.

Sign Up Process
Start playing in a matter of minutes with SweepSlots’ fast signup process. You’ll need to provide the following to create your account:
- Email address
- First and last name
- Date of birth
- Full address
- Phone number
If you’ve signed up for one social or sweeps casino, you’ll find SweepSlots’ signup process comparably simple. A few strokes on the keyboard and some basic info is all you need.
Ease of Use
SweepSlots has one of the more attractive and intuitive website designs among social and sweeps casinos. While you’ll be welcomed by bright, flashy colors, SweepSlots blends the color scheme together well, and somehow avoids looking garish.
The thumbnails for each game are gorgeously designed and immediately communicate the theme you can anticipate. Illustrations lean more toward the animation side than other hyper-realistic thumbnails on other social and sweeps casinos. It’s probably just me, but my first impression when I see that approach is that the games are going to be hokey or cheap ripoffs of the originals.
With every game I played, I found myself being more and more wrong as each new one offered fun and engaging graphics and smooth gameplay.
SweepSlots does one thing different from most other online casinos: it checks for a secure connection the moment you hit “enter” after typing in sweepslots.com. Theoretically, this adds an extra level of security when playing on SweepSlots.
That’s where I hit my biggest issue with SweepSlots, though. I’m about a 50-50 split when it comes to playing on a desktop browser or a mobile browser. It always depends on where I’m at when I feel like playing. It would have been great when I felt like playing on my mobile device for me to be able to access the site, but every time, my luck was out before I even hit the homepage. The mobile experience needs some work, to say the least.
Additionally, one of the more surprising negatives I found was that the desktop browser version of SweepSlots is not responsive. This means that the game screen doesn’t adjust to your browser window size — your browser window size needs to be adjusted for the display size of the slot you’re playing.
Buying GC and SC
As with the vast majority of online casinos, purchasing gold coins is a breeze on SweepSlots. The eight different coin packages range from $1.99 to $499.99 and the menu of options is clear and easy to understand.
A pleasant surprise on the menu of Gold Coin packages is that the $9.99 level actually comes with Sweeps Coins. There are a handful of online casinos that only offer GC for that price, likely in an effort to upsell you to the $19.99 level. Pay $9.99 on SweepSlots, however, and you’ve got SC 10 to play with.
The daily login bonus is nothing to write home about as SweepSlots offers GC 1,000 and SC 0.30 per day. Signup promos can always change, but as of the time of this writing, SweepSlots offers 70% off your first purchase, getting you started with lots of GC and SC.
An early criticism of SweepSlots when it first launched was that it accepted limited payment options. That has changed in the years since as SweepSlots accepts a variety of debit and credit cards. Get your coins with MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express.
There is one other option for coin purchases and that’s a virtual wallet service called Skrill. A virtual wallet can add a layer of security by completely encrypting your personal information while still allowing you to make purchases off SweepSlots or any number of other merchants. The catch with using Skrill is that you have to sign up for a separate account. If this is your preference and you don’t have an account, just expect a few extra minutes to set that up before you can play on SweepSlots.
Slots Available
As already mentioned, SweepSlots has bulked up its games library since it debuted. While most of the games are produced by software developer PlaysOn, there are some offerings from top developers like BetSoft and Relax Gaming.
Most games feature jackpots of some kind, too. Some are progressives, others are static, but all are generous and capable of providing a big win. How’s 3,000x your bet sound? Playing one particularly volatile game I’ll tell you about gives you a chance at a 5,000x jackpot.

Let me take you for a tour around several of my favorite games.
Lion Gems – I’ve always been a big fan of Aristocrat’s 100 Lions slot and Lion Gems is about as close to it as you’ll find without playing the real thing. Stacks of lions populate each of the five reels, but unlike 100 Lions, the lions are wild. You will find diamonds in Lion Gems, too, but instead of serving as a wild symbol, they have denominations on them. Hit six of them in any single spin and you’re off to the hold-and-spin bonus. That’s not all, though. A single spin that produces three scatter symbols gets you eight free spins. Hit the Grand jackpot and you’re looking at a win 3,000x your bet.
Lure of Fortune – Relax Gaming’s Lure of Fortune is a tumbling-style game. Land four of the same symbol connected vertically or horizontally and those symbols will disappear and new symbols will tumble in from the top. This offers the potential for one spin netting you many wins as the symbols keep tumbling until you hit a losing spin. To the right of the reels is a stack with each symbol represented. Next to the symbol is a multiplier and each spin activates random multipliers. For example, on one spin, the fisherman symbol might start by only paying 1x for a winning combo, but on the next spin, that same symbol might begin paying at 16x for a winning combo. Each win increases that symbol’s multiplier. While it doesn’t have progressive jackpots, Lure of Fortune gives you the chance to win its 5,000x jackpot.
Super Golden Dragon Inferno Hold and Win – Made by BetSoft, this Asian-themed game makes me think of a merging of casino staples Rising Fortunes and Money Link Great Immortals. The familiar fish, turtle, and ingot symbols are mixed with the classic J, Q, K, A symbols. Land door symbols, which are stacked in this game, and they’ll open to reveal mystery symbols that can turn a losing spin into a winning one. Hold and Win is what you might expect — hit six dragon balls with denominations on them and you’ll trigger the feature. Fill the screen with dragon balls and you’ll win the 2,000x Grand jackpot.
Other Casino Style Games Available
The variety of casino-style table and card games on SweepSlots is serviceable with only 13 options for card and table games. Each of the games is some variation on Blackjack, Poker, Baccarat, and Roulette.
American Roulette 3D – If you’re familiar with roulette at all, American Roulette 3D is as classic as you can get. Play one game of roulette and you’ve played them all, but the cool twist with this one is that it’s in 3D. This automatically makes it a more engaging game to play than your standard 2D online games. There’s really nothing more to it than that. It’s just a good, reliable, no-frills roulette option.
Texas Hold Em Bonus – Hold Em can be an intimidating game to play in the casino, which is why I tend to avoid it. Playing online is much less pressure and Texas Hold Em Bonus is plenty of the classic game with a slight twist. The Texas Hold Em part is traditional — you get two cards, plus the flop, turn, and river cards to make the best hand possible. The bonus part is just a side bet that can be fun to throw in every so often. A bonus bet can be made after your ante is paid and you’re betting that in the first five cards — the two you were dealt plus the three on the flop — there will be a pair of aces or higher.
Supreme 777 Jackpots – In this multi-hand Blackjack game, you have a real chance at hitting it big with the jackpot side bet. If you play this side bet and draw a 7 in your first two cards, you win 1:1. Draw a pair of 7s in your first two cards, you’ll win a 5:1 jackpot. To hit the minor, major, or grand jackpots, you’ll need to hit at least once and all your cards must be 7s, with a catch.
- Three 7s of the same color wins the minor jackpot;
- Suited 7s in all clubs, diamonds, or hearts wins the major;
- Three 7s in spades gets you the grand jackpot
The rest of the game is your traditional Blackjack gameplay, but the jackpot side bet is a fun addition to mix things up a bit.
The Casino App (Mobile)
SweepSlots’ biggest drawback is in the technology category. There is a SweepSlots app available on the Google Play store, but there is no iPhone version as of the writing of this review.
Mobile vs Desktop experience
The vast difference I experienced between the mobile and desktop versions of SweepSlots is that the mobile version didn’t work. That’s a pretty significant one. Every time I tried logging onto the site from a variety of mobile browsers, I always got the same message:

Spoiler: there was nothing wrong with my internet connection. Even if I could access the site on my mobile device, I have to wonder how functional it would be, considering it’s not built to be responsive to screen size.
Support
SweepSlots has your standard help center filled with a variety of answers to frequently asked questions in several categories. In its scrolling homepage promotions, SweepSlots touts its 24/7 live chat for any issues that may arise, so I figured I’d ask about the mobile browser issues I was having. When I clicked on the live chat link in the help center, I was just taken back to the top of the help center page with no clear reason as to why. There is an orange chat icon at the bottom right of the help center, but that only connects you to a bot. I assumed that telling the bot I needed to speak with a representative would get me hooked up with a live person, but no.
Needless to say, I didn’t get a live answer because I couldn’t access a live person, so I sent a message through the Submit a Request link. We’ll let you know if we ever hear back.
Redeeming Cash
Before you redeem your Sweeps Coins for cash prizes, you’ll have to verify your account. This is a process you’ll only have to go through once and it requires you to send proof of a valid government-issued ID that matches the information you used to register on SweepSlots. After you’re verified automatically, you’ll select how much to redeem and where you’d like it sent. You can get paid to your debit card, bank account, or Skrill account.
Final Thoughts
SweepSlots, unfortunately, suffers from many of the same issues you’ll find on up-and-coming social and sweeps casinos — functionality issues, clunky user experience, and very little help. The inability to play on a mobile device is a huge drawback, and that’s a shame because responsive website technology has been standard in every industry for more than a decade now. I even found the lack of responsive design annoying on my desktop browser as I had to make my window the full size of my screen. That might not be an issue for you, but I like to use split screens often.
I couldn’t find anything on an Apple Store app in the works to complement the Google Play app, but here’s hoping that SweepSlots is cooking something up for iPhone users.
The overall gameplay of the slots was outstanding in my experience and the games are a really good time. Some of the other site issues, however, had me wanting to switch to one of SweepSlots’ more stable competitors.
Between low daily sign-in bonuses, website functionality, and mobile availability, it’s hard to endorse SweepSlots. There are better casinos out there, but if SweepSlots can clean up a few things, it has the makings of a contender.
